NMDC'S NEW ONLINE PRODUCER'S REGISTRY IS NOW UP AND RUNNING!
THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA DAVIS IS CONDUCTING A SERIES OF DACHSHUND STUDIES, WITH THE URGING AND ASSISTANCE OF DODGERSLIST. DODGERSLIST IS A GROUP FOUNDED AND HEADED BY LINDA STOWE THAT IS DEDICATED TO FINDING A CURE FOR IVDD (DISC DISEASE) IN DACHSHUNDS. THE STUDIES INCLUDE A PROPOSED STUDY OF IVDD IN DACHSHUNDS, A COAT STUDY, SIZE STUDY (BREED DOWN LITTERS), A COLOR/PATTERN STUDY, AND A BEHAVIORAL STUDY. THE FOLLOWING LINK WILL GIVE THE NEEDED CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION AND THERE IS A LINK ON THAT PAGE, ALLOWING YOU TO ADD YOUR DOG TO A STUDY.
